The Peanut Gallery

This week we have been catching up with creative craft company The Peanut Gallery. We asked them to share what they’re all about with our Oh So Perfect followers…

Set in an old mill in Congleton, The Peanut Gallery is a small but perfectly formed gallery and shop. All our stock is affordable so that the customer gets designed, handmade pieces for peanuts!! We also run creative workshops and offer bespoke parties- perfect for an alternative hen event!

We are friendly and reliable, offering bespoke goods tailored to suit your needs. We can create for vintage, contemporary, alternative or retro weddings or parties. We would be best suited to clients who are looking for something individual and a little bit different!

Our handmade, recycled and re-loved quality items are perfect for gifts; we have a whole range from ‘something blue’ for the bride to ‘mini moon packages’ for the happy couple. We also stock a range of items perfect for wedding favours, table decorations as well as unique bespoke stationary to suit the clients’ needs.

Creative, design conscious, alternative, quirky- [we appeal to] those looking for something a little bit different, we can help to provide goods or services to suit and reflect the personalities of the bride and groom.

The range of products that we offer are not mass produced, meaning every wedding or party we deliver is unique. We offer value for money, one of a kind, exclusive products tailored to suit the customer.

We are a very new business and have been open for only 3 months, but have been non stop ever since! We have lots of contacts and a wealth of experience between us. Our gallery/shop is based in Congleton Cheshire, but we go out on the road to various craft fairs so don’t mind travelling- we could bring our parties/workshops to you!

[We] originally trained in ceramics at Loughborough university (BAHons, also MA at Cardiff university), and between us we have around 30 years teaching experience at many levels in various art and design subjects. Working and delivering Contemporary Art Practice at degree level for the last 5 years we have liaised with many creative industries, curating exhibitions, organising fashion shows, styling events, facilitating photo shoots, covering a broad range of areas from fashion to illustration and fine art to graphics.

As well as our professional qualifications in our specialist areas, we also have qualified teacher status. We regularly frequent exhibitions all over the country enabling us to keep up to date and aware of current trends.

We’re looking forward to working with many more happy couples, helping to create fabulous memories. We have provided workshops and parties for a whole host of people and look forward to being part of some special wedding experiences.

We are highly creative individuals who will endeavour to deliver specific briefs, so if you have an idea in mind, get in touch to see what we can do for you!

You can always visit us in our small but perfectly formed gallery/shop in Congleton, see us on facebook, twitter and our website. We regularly take part in the vintage escapades craft fairs held in Shropshire as well as answering emails regularly so if information is needed pop and see us or drop us a line!
