Kayleigh and Mark ~ Love Birds

Oh So Perfect – Wedding and Event Portfolio

Goodness me, it seems we forgot to post this wedding up last season – goodness knows how as it was beautiful! But luckily we have realised today, and as such can share some lovely real-life wedding snaps from one of our weddings on the blog for you this afternoon!

www.ohsoperfect.co.ukOn Saturday 13th September 2013, Kayleigh married Mark in a ceremony at Treberfydd House, near Brecon, followed by a marquee reception in the manor house’s glorious gardens. Kayleigh and Mark refer to eachother as bird – what better pet name for two love birds – so elegantly reflected in their pretty, vintage theme.

Oh So Perfect were delighted to provide On The Day Coordination for this pretty pair!

Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Morris

We’d like to wish a very happy first anniversary to our beautiful ‘Better Together’ couple – Emma and Andy – who were married in a gorgeous ceremony in Laugharne on 4th August 2012, followed by a vintage garden party celebration at Broadway Country House, for which we had the pleasure of assisting with the design and coordination of this lovely, lovely little affair. We hope you two have a gorgeous day together drinking plenty of champagne!

Looking back to last year, I remember sound of the rain slamming into the sides of the marquee as we set up that morning – I must admit I was starting to worry! – but by the time the afternoon set in and the guests began to arrive, the rain cleared up and the sun shone so brightly, there was nothing to worry about in the slightest, and a beautiful day was enjoyed by all!

We had meters and meters of bespoke bunting custom made for Emma and Andy which not only went all around and across the marquee, but also adorned the conservatory, walk ways and a little romantic outdoor pagoda, with a few spare strands to decorate the bridal suite too. Emma and Andy were also the first Oh So Perfect couple to request our hand made paper pompoms, which have since become a popular feature at OSP events having been requested by our couples time and time again after seeing these lovely purple ones!

Here’s a little look back at some photos of the set up of this pretty purple reception; stringing up all the bunting and pompoms with the help of my two assistants Christina and Mark…

And of course, my favourite part of the day – showing my couple what their venue looks like before the guests get to see! www.ohsoperfect.co.uk

A Touch of Vintage

A Touch of Vintage is a unique vintage mobile photography experience which brings the studio to the customer. We specialise in covering themed events and weddings from the 1920’s – 1950’s and offer onsite printing and mounting on all events.”

A Touch of Vintage is the perfect accompaniment to any vintage style wedding, and we absolutely adore their very quirky, very British, very retro-tastic website here at Perfect HQ.

Based in Oxfordshire and the Midlands, A Touch of Vintage can offer a unique experience at any vintage-inspired wedding or event, by not only offering guests an opportunity to take a break from the dance floor for a spot of photographic fun, but also giving everyone a retro-reminder of your nuptials to take home at the end of the night, ensuring that your wedding is one which will stand out in your guests’ memories for a long time.

“A Touch of Vintage is for any couple who want to add an extra ‘something’ to their evening function. Why waste money on party favours when you can spoil your guests with a vintage style photo to take away?”

“We appeal to the couple who want to thank their guests for making their day special by treating them to vintage photography experience.”

The man behind the lens is self-taught, professional photographer, Rich Innes. Rich has been involved in the photography and film industry for the last 7 years, running his own general photography company Studios2u as well as working hard to perfect his own vintage style, leading him to launch A Touch of Vintage earlier this year.

Rich is a self confessed “people person” and admits that he could never see himself stuck working behind a desk. He loves a good party – “even if it’s not mine!” – and adores a themed wedding above any other.

“The traditional white wedding has its place but why settle for run of the mill? Your day should be special and memorable you want your guests talking about it for years.”

“I have seen too many weddings spoiled by stressed brides, anxious grooms and bored guests. Remember to sit back and enjoy your day. Oh, and don’t forget to hire A Touch Of Vintage!”

Finally, we asked Rich what would make A Touch of Vintage the ideal wedding supplier to suit a fabulously vintage Oh So Perfect bride? His answer….?

“I am the only events photographer who comes to your wedding wearing my finest 1930’s suit! You don’t get more vintage than that.”

So where can you find A Touch of Vintage next? You can catch Rich and his vintage studio at the Clarendon Pub in Leamington Spa this News Years Eve, photographing the partying punters at the Clarendon’s ‘NYE Prohibition Party’. Can’t wait until then? You can also check out the website www.touch-of-vintage.co.uk or email Rich direct on innesrich@yahoo.co.uk.
